DESCRIPTION:Join us in our annual Daniel Fast from January 5\, 2026 to January 25\, 2026. \n  \n13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body\, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God\, these are sons of God\, Romans 8 \nThe Why (Purpose)\n*Discipline my body & soul (flesh): deny self / the flesh in order to have my spirit in ascendancy; to walk more in the spirit; have my perfect spirit in more control of my soul & body. \nThe What (Flesh Denial)\n*Shall include abstinence from:\n– Food – skip 1 meal or 2 meals each day\, plus:\n– ⁠Drinks – abstain from favourite drinks & coffee / tea (water ok)\n– ⁠Entertainment: abstain from favourite Sports\, TV & Streaming programs / shows\, secular movies \nThe How (Activities)\n*Shall include focused time of personal Word study & meditation\, & fellowship/intimacy with The Holy Spirit\, incl in Praise & worship \n*Shall include personal time of fervent\, effectual prayer\, incl praying in the spirit (in tongues) \nThe When (Duration)\n*Do at least 3 days: 3\, 7\, 10\, 12\, 15\, 17…or 21 days\, as you can receive Grace\, discipline & focus for. \nExemptions\n*Pregnant & nursing sisters \n*Doctor’s advice; unwellness \n9 And He said to me\, “My Grace is sufficient for you\, for My Strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities\, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me.10 … For when I am weak\, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12
